Vishnu Digambar:

On January 2nd 2009 Vishnu Digambar left his body. For almost 40 years he has been Mataji's spiritual companion, husband, father of their two sons and a most beloved gurubhai to us all.

A few days earlier, on December 2008, Vishnu had asked for this picture to be taken of him. Little did we know then, that it was to be his last.

We are all very sad.

At the end of February 2009, accompanied by Bajarangi and Hari Om, Mataji travelled to Varanasi (India).

On tuesday, February 24th, just before the sun came up, Mataji put Vishnu Digambar's ashes into the holy waters of the river Ganges, as was his wish.

Since April 17th 2009 another part of Vishnu Digambar's ashes now rests in the garden of his house under an appletree. Vishnus family had deeply wished for such a place of rememberance.

On May 2nd a last part of Vishnu Digambar's ashes was given over to the Starnbergersee, close to Munich, by his family. Vishnu was very fond of this lake where he had spent his childhood and youth. In this way Vishnu Digambar's very sick elder brother was also able to say goodbye.
